Philippians is one of the so-called "prison letters." Yet its tone is cheerful and hopeful. Paul informs the brethren in Philippi that though he was chained, the gospel was unchained. He also encourages them to be united and strong in the Lord. Aaron's comments help to bring out points in the letter that are often overlooked. Preachers, teachers, and all other Bible students will benefit from this commentary.
