The book of Acts is unique because it shows us how Christians converted others after Christ's ascension. Just like the people in Acts, we are without Jesus to speak with us as the Apostles did. However, we do have the benefit of the inspired record of how Christians converted others. Different people required different ways to be converted. While each case may seem unique, the methods by which people were converted in Acts still work today.
Authors Drs. Guy "Doc" Warner and Kenny Embry, professors of communication, have examined the methods used and set out to tell what worked, why it worked, and how we can use it today.
