| GOD SO LOVED (F JENKINS TRIBUT It is entirely appropriate that this Festschrift in honor of Ferrell Jenkins be devoted to the Gospel of John. Ferrell Jenkins devoted much of his life to studying and teaching the writings of the beloved apostle, having taught both the gospel and epistles of John and the book of Revelation for many years at Florida College. In the spring of 2001 Brother Jenkins retired from his collegiate teaching work, though certainly not from the work he has always loved - preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
God So Loved: Studies in the Gospel of John is a collection of studies by several colleagues, former students, college classmates, and friends of Ferrell Jenkins. The book is not a commentary on John. The reader will find, however, a variety of studies ranging from introductory and background studies to essays of specific texts.
