The design of the study is to afford the student and teacher an examination of the many stories surrounding the WELL as an important and vital part of Biblical life. Finding water was essential for life and in many places great effort had to be made to supply enough water for the inhabitants. As deserts surrounded Israel, reliance on wells and springs were essential for the growing populous.
